Queen of her own Apocalypse

My nights are frequently consumed with nightmares, and one of my methods of coping is to try to find the beauty within them and transfer it to canvas. A dream of the Apocalypse, death, and an abyss of fire was transformed into a tale of resilience and symbolises beauty's triumphant emergence from the depths of chaos. The oil-painted background is adorned with a delicate white and red paper cutout embodying feminine strength. A third layer of thick transparent plastic foil adds depth, while intricate gold wire stitches along the woman's contour. A dozen tiny golden nails secure the plastic foil onto the canvas.
