Inspired by my mother's beauty, this painting is a tribute to her grace and strength. The intricate backdrop emerged from a fusion of watercolour, salt, spray paint, acrylics, and nail polish remover, creating a captivating blend of textures. Drawing from Aboriginal art techniques, I employed a dot method to create a labyrinth adorned with delicate wire spirals coated in nail polish. Atop this intricate maze lays a woman, her form fragmented into six pieces yet seamlessly stitched back together on canvas. In addition, the women's shape was initially adorned in golden dots, followed by more tiny blue dots.
