Dancing with the Moons

Description

Based on a lucid dream of a goddess juggling moons while dancing through space and time. The background consists of an accurate depiction of the star constellation from Edinburgh, which I hand embroidered onto the canvas using golden thread and glass beads. In the midst, a female paper cutout juggles moons constructed with modelling paste and acrylic paint. The female figure is surrounded by a moon cycle crafted of Transparent Modelling Paste, with the moon phase represented by the amount of glass beads that fill the area of each circle. A dusting of gold to give the finishing touch.
