This artwork pays homage to my father figure, portraying his life journey. Reflecting his career at BMW, the background mirrors BMW World's architecture in Munich. A paper cutout features his cherished Indian vintage car. Using a stencil inspired by my parents' wedding invitations, I transferred the design onto canvas with white modelling paste. Drawn on original DDR tracing paper, the canvas includes five maps marking the places he resided and the route his ship took when he was a marine. Completing the piece are four paper cutouts of Indian Paradise Flycatchers, symbolising his wife and three daughters.
